Installation / commissioning / acceptance

Prepare the facility before the equipment arrives.

Confirm the exact site requirements, conditional utilities, safety controls, document package and acceptance criteria against the ordered model—not a generic product family.

Installation summary

Select your equipment configuration

Use the planning route below only to surface conditional review areas. It does not replace exact model data from Directus or the approved order record.

General planning route selected. Exact model / variant is still required before site approval.
MODEL DATAAwaiting approved model / variantDimensions, power, connections and clearances must not be inferred.
CONDITIONAL UTILITIESReview only if required by ordered configurationLN₂ and vacuum sections are controlled by product / configuration data.
ACCEPTANCE BASIS7-point baseline + order-specific criteriaSample-test or validation criteria must preserve the same approved version.
Safety before installation

Installation safety requirements

LN₂, vacuum, infectious / hazardous samples, decontamination and waste handling require configuration- and site-specific review. The public page must not convert a product-family label into a safety approval.

LN₂ / oxygen-deficiency reviewFacility ventilation, O₂ monitoring, transfer, PPE and emergency procedure must follow the approved configuration and local EHS process.
Vacuum / exhaust reviewConfirm source, exhaust, filtration, leak-check and maintenance space for the exact vacuum system.
Biosafety / sample-risk reviewCleaning, inactivation, leakage and waste controls must match the actual sample risk. Unsupported inactivation claims are never published.
Facility requirement matrix

Laboratory installation requirements

Cards show what must be checked. Exact values are populated from the approved model / variant and destination-specific installation record.

01Model-specific

Space & access

Confirm the physical path from receiving to final operating position before shipment.

  • Equipment dimensions & lid / service clearance
  • Bench / floor load and stability
  • Ventilation / heat-dissipation clearance
  • Door, elevator and handling route
  • Working clearance for loading, cleaning and maintenance
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
02Configuration-critical

Electrical

Electrical details must match the exact model / variant released for production.

  • Voltage and frequency
  • Rated power / current
  • Plug or connection type
  • Protective earth / grounding
  • Power-quality or stabilizer requirement, if applicable
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
03Model-specific

Environment

The installation area must support stable operation and safe routine use.

  • Operating temperature and humidity
  • Noise / vibration considerations
  • Cleanliness and contamination control
  • Lighting and operator access
  • Local facility constraints
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
04Conditional safety review

Liquid nitrogen

Show this requirement only when the selected configuration actually uses LN₂.

  • LN₂ storage and transfer method
  • Room ventilation and oxygen-deficiency assessment
  • Oxygen monitoring, where required
  • Transfer lines / connections
  • PPE, training and emergency procedure
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
05Conditional utility review

Vacuum

Vacuum requirements depend on the exact vacuum-enabled system and accessories.

  • Vacuum pump / source
  • Exhaust route
  • Filtration requirement
  • Leak-check procedure
  • Service and maintenance clearance
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
06Sample-dependent

Biosafety & cleaning

Sample risk, cleaning and waste controls must be reviewed before routine use.

  • Sample / biosafety level or internal risk class
  • Cleaning and decontamination method
  • Validated inactivation claim, if any
  • Waste / leakage handling
  • Room / containment requirements
DATA STATUSLoad approved model / market record
07Feature-dependent

Data & connectivity

Confirm only the interfaces actually supported by the selected model / software version.

  • USB / local export
  • Network connectivity
  • Software / workstation requirements
  • Barcode workflow, if supported
  • LIMS / data-system interface, if supported

Pre-install checklist

Prepare the laboratory site

This checklist is intentionally operational. Print it, attach it to the order / installation review, and replace generic items with the exact approved model values before sign-off.

Acceptance checklist

Equipment acceptance checklist

The acceptance record should refer to the exact installed configuration, document versions and any approved sample-test criteria.

01

Identity & completeness

Check equipment appearance, ordered model / serial identity, quantity, included configuration and accessories against the packing / order records.

02

Power & safety functions

Verify power-up plus applicable safety lock, emergency-stop and alarm functions before routine operation.

03

No-load & loaded operation

Run the agreed no-load and loaded checks using the approved operating procedure.

04

Operating parameters

Check the applicable speed / frequency, temperature, vacuum or centrifugal parameters against the approved model specification and test method.

05

Sample test & repeatability

Where acceptance includes a sample method, use the same approved sample, configuration, parameters and acceptance criteria referenced by the order.

06

Document handover

Confirm delivery of the applicable Manual, Datasheet, QC record, certificates / declarations and warranty documents.

07

Training sign-off

Record completion of operation, maintenance and safety training for the applicable equipment and workflow.

Acceptance control: do not substitute a generic factory claim for the buyer's agreed acceptance criteria. If a sample test is part of acceptance, reference the same sample, configuration, parameter and result version used during technical approval.

Installation support options

FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ or PQ must appear as service options only when an approved capability record exists for the relevant model, market and scope.

INSTALLATION SERVICESAsk about support for your destination.

Share the model, site and installation requirements so we can discuss the applicable service options.

Before you release the site for installation

Review your installation plan

Carry the ordered model / variant, BOM, destination, voltage, utilities, safety requirements, document package and acceptance criteria into one installation review.
